Follow Bill on twitter! @waychunas A doctoral student in the Teaching and Teacher Education program at the University of Michigan, Bill spent eight years as a classroom teacher and is a strong believer in the powerful impact that high-quality teachers can have in schools, Bill’s research interests include how teachers are attracted, prepared, and retained, especially in the context of highest-needs, urban schools. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in History and Secondary Education, he compiled a diverse range of experiences teaching Social Studies and ELA in elementary and secondary schools and holding various school leadership positions.
